Priority area: Wellbeing (social and emotional)

Coaching for early childhood educators with a focus on wellbeing

During Covid-19 Early Childhood centres are more complex than ever before. Our services function as a gathering space for a diverse group of educators, children and families all navigating their way through truly unprecedented circumstances.

Join Chris Phoenix and Tara Hill from Phoenix Support as they place emphasis on the importance of practitioner wellbeing, and the wellbeing of children, particularly during these uncertain times.

Through the exploration of the importance of our own needs and wellbeing, we can apply this knowledge to the children that we work with each day.

Now is the time to deep dive into your understanding of wellbeing beyond colouring books and motivational quotes.

Goals

In this bundle you will...

  • Identify the key elements of social and emotional wellbeing in relation to School readiness.

  • Consider the complexities of mental health of young children and how to best support their ability to form connections with their peers and primary caregivers

  • Understand the importance of building capable and resilient self-image in ourselves and the children we work with
