About the Workshop
Child abuse is a serious topic that no one likes to talk about, however, as educators it is vitally important to be aware of the potential physical and behavioural indicators of abuse. This workshop supports educators in becoming familiar with the different types of abuse and the laws that are relevant to the different states and territories. Through discussion, educators will be able to reflect on how to provide a secure and safe environment for children and what the role of the teacher requires.
